Welcome to my very own Wimpy-inspired fast food brand, inspired by childhood memories of eating at Wimpy in Streatham, south London.
I planned and collected props for these pop art food scenes for months, researching Wimpy branding through the ages. I wanted everything to be just right.
What started as an idea for a simple burger picture grew into all the branded accessories I could dream of.
I designed the logo, had branded burger paper printed, then assembled my own boxes from card to make everything I need for takeaway.
I also created and collected the props for various Wimpy-style eat-in scenes – burgers and chips as well as retro ice cream sundaes, with my own branded plates and bowls and lots of other themed table accessories.
This pink retro fast food project was so much fun!
