Hard light drink photography

Hard light is my favourite light for drink photography.

This bright, sunny, optimistic light speaks of summer celebrations and the dramatic highlights really place all the focus on the hero.

Hard lighting creates strong, graphic contrast with intricate hard light shadows that are an art form of their own.

For my hard light photography I work closely with stylists who specialise in using real, hand-carved clear ice – nothing beats the stunning clarity of real, quality ice.
