Cake sprinkles food photography

Cake sprinkles are one of my favourite foods to shoot. 

I love their bold, bright, rainbow colours and their varied shapes and textures.

They are uplifting, fun and optimistic, symbolising celebrations and child-like glee.

I like to capture sprinkles raining down on the ice cream or cake, that moment of whimsical decoration frozen beautifully in time.

Sprinkles can be pretty and girly or colourful and graphic, but there is always a hint of nostalgia.
